Robotic Visual Inspection

Public research notebook for the robotic visual-inspection cell — two sensing modalities
(structured-light scan for mm-scale geometry; photometric stereo + RGB for sub-mm surface
defects) — plus the UW PhD qualifying-exam literature review.

Migration target: the existing vault content (00- … 95-, Deliverables/Quals-2026/,
etc.) moves into this module. Until then this is a stub.

Conventions

• Attachments live in per-folder _attachments/ (see the umbrella’s Vault-Conventions).
• Implementation plans go in plans.
• Keep basenames unique across the whole vault.
